Why we need your support
One in four of us will experience a mental health problem at some point in our lives. For many people having a mental health problem makes it difficult to find work, a place to live, and be accepted by friends and neighbours at a time when they most need support.

For more than 15 years, Start in Salford creative arts and wellbeing centre has been working to make it easier for people to speak out about their experiences and to join with others to dispel the myths and stigma surrounding mental illness.
