At Start in Salford we run sessions in both Digital and Traditional Black and White photography. There’s a lot on offer for the budding photographer and enthusiast, you don’t need any prior knowledge to take part.

• Learn all about how the camera works and how to make it work for you.
• Create fantastic images on the computer using Adobe Photoshop.
• Discover the art of black and white photography, how to process film and print in the darkroom.
• Shoot portraits or still-life in the studio using professional lighting.
• Go on trips to local beauty spots to shoot landscape and nature shots.
• Learn to work as part of a team producing saleable photographic goods in our Income Generation groups.
• Gain an OCNW Level 1 certificate in either digital or traditional photography.
• Make new friends and gain invaluable skills at Start in Salford Arts Project.
