Sian Roberts has a selection of photographs in the BME photography project part of Life Through The Lens: exhibition snapshots of Salford’s past. The new LifeTimes exhibition at Salford Museum & Art Gallery is showing some of the hidden gems from the photographic collections held at the museum. From rat catchers to street parties, the photos have been selected to celebrate 10 years of the LifeTimes project. The Exibition runs until Autumn 2011, please check with venue for exact closing date.

Series of 'eco bag' designs

Eco bags – The photography income generation group came up with the idea of printing photographs onto natural canvas shopping bags, not only would they look great but they would also promote recycling and green issues. The bags sold well at the market and we have had interest from retail outlets like The Lowry Shop, to stock our eco bags! We are also looking to take on commissions and will print any image on the bags, so if you’d like a personalised bag using one of your photographs give us a call; it’s a novel gift idea.
