Inspired by nature
A gorgeous exhibition of metalwork and Jewellery, by artists Junko Mori and Jacqueline Ryan, is currently showing at Blackwwell Arts and Crafts House at Bowness-on-Windermere. Open Daily 10.30am - 5.00pm (Adults £6.50, Children £3.80, Family £17.25).
The artists use nature as inspiration for their work, collecting dried seeds and plants to examine and draw, which as you can see from the picture above, creates spectacular results.
The exhibition contains items from their collection, as well as sketchbooks, models and drawings, so you can see how their art is created from initial idea to finished piece.
