Diversity and Confusion

'Diversity and Confusion' is the new exhibition being held in Start in Salford's People's Gallery featuring work created by volunteer Artist in Residence Magdalena Furman.
Magdalena is a sculptor who has been able to develop her passion and skills further during the 18 months she has been volunteering at Start in Salford's ceramic studio, she has been helping out during classes as well as working as a volunteer Artist in Residence on her own work.
Magdalena comments, "it's been a great time for me to be in a fantastic studio surrounded by lovely and friendly staff and volunteers. It inspires me and gives me wings."
Within her exhibition Magdalena is showing ‘Gymnastic Ladies’, ‘Half-animal/Women’, ‘Mother and Child’ and a portrait of a young Michael Jackson.
Her ceramic sculptures tell stories about life, its amazing diversity and the importance of strong and good values...because it’s so easy to lose track and get confused.
All are welcome, please contact Start in Salford on 0161 351 6000 for exhibition opening times. For directions see the How to find us page.
