'A Landmark in the Landscape' exhibition @ Tatton Park
Start in Salford's exhibition at Tatton Park will be taking place for two weeks from the 2nd July 09. This exhibition of artworks is inspired by the remarkable transformation of a derelict former church yard into our thriving community garden.
Taking the theme of garden birds our artists have worked in ceramic, paper sculpture, and photography to create artworks that celebrate our connections with nature in the course of city life.
The remarkable story of Start in Salford's garden project is documented in our artist's book 'A Landmark in the Landscape.' The book will be available in Tatton gift shop near the exhibition.
Entry to the exhibition is FREE. Parking at Tatton is £4.50 per vehicle. The park is open 10am - 7pm daily.
