'One Good Turn' at Start
This was the an open day run at Start in Salford's woodwork room introducing particpants to wood turning. Called 'One Good Turn' it allowed those involved to have a go at using one of the lathes that we had brought in for the day. It is a tough skill to master, but it seems everyone managed (some with help and some without) to turn the rolling pin. The open day was such an enjoyable success that we are now negotiating to try and bring a 10 week course in wood turning.
