Wednesday the 1st of Decemeber saw the opening of the Fragments Exhibition at Salford Museum and Art Gallery. Fragments is a collection of reminiscences about Salford and its people amd contains an exhibition from Start in Salford. Included are works by the Core Project, Arts on Prescription, Youth Arts inclusion and Start Over Fifty so congratulations to all involved.

On the night there was food, drink and live music from singer Michelle Strahan, which helped to warm everyone up after their snowy journey! There was a great turnout, despite the snowy weather, and everyone enjoyed the various pieces on display.

The evening also launched our brand new 'Friends' scheme. Read more about this in our other news story.

The exhibition is on until 13th March 2011, giving plenty of time to view some brilliant stories from Salford's past and present.
