"Hi, I'm Will, the Ceramics Coordinator at Start in Salford. In the last few months the ceramic department has shifted up a gear to become a hive of industry.
Our income generation volunteers have been producing our Lowry figures as fast as they can to cover orders. Thanks to them for all their hard work- keep it up guys!
As well as this there is a new entry & level one ASENTIS program which is due to complete it’s first year in June. Well done to all those on the course everybody has made excellent progress this year!
We are also now running a Monday pottery class (more info can be found in Events section of the site)which is open to the public & attracting great interest as well as producing some great work. In the pipeline, we will be introducing Tuesday evening master classes in Throwing & Raku so watch this space!
Finally an additional personal word from me, thanks to all the Start in Salford staff, volunteers & members for being so welcoming & making my first few months here so enjoyable, cheers all. More biscuits please! ;)"
