Are you an aspiring artist or do you just enjoy all things creative?? Do you live in Salford?? If so, read on!...
... We are extremely excited to introduce our first Annual Arts Competition!! Start in Salford is looking for inspirational art works that reflect and celebrate Salford, the city in which we live.
Enter today for a chance to win £1000 for the best overall entry, or £500 for the best in age group. Closing date for all entries is 30th September 2011.
The age groups are split into the following categories;
- 50 plus
- 18-49 years
- under 18s
- plus the Best school entry*
Your art work can be Visual Arts, Photography or 3D. Entry fee is £10.00 for each submission or £40.00 for each School entry.
Entries will be judged by a professional panel including Salfordian Artist Harold Riley, representatives from Salford University and The Lowry Hotel.
*Winning School entry will receive a package of art materials.
