Well done girls!!

They did it!!

We are extremely proud of three of our supporters who organised and took part in a sponsored bike ride from Manchester to Blackpool this Saturday all in the name of Start in Salford. Christine, previously a volunteer with Start alongside her friends Jen and Ruth wanted to support a charity that may slip under the radar of the general public.

The bike ride was a one way journey of approximately 60 miles, leaving from Chorlton Library and arriving at Blackpool Tower two punctures, a swollen toe and six aching legs later. What an inspiration! We can not thank the girls enough who have managed to raise well over £1000 for us.
