For several years Start has had expressions of interest for art commissions, purchasing or hiring work, as the quality of much of the work produced by members is widely acknowledged as outstanding.

Start Creative Studios has been formed as a trading arm of our charity to enable us to provide positive, professional artistic experience for our members to help them further their artistic skills.

Fine art and hand-crafted products

Start Creative Studios has an extensive and continuously expanding and changing range of fine art and hand-crafted products for sale. For details on up and coming markets, exhibitions or events where you can purchase our items, check out the Upcoming events section.

Commissions

Urban Yurts

Start Creative Studios also manufactures and hires out ‘Urban Yurts.’ Our unique urban design was developed with the expert input of a master yurt builder. Start Creative Studios can produce a yurt to any specification and size, and in a range of canvas colours. All our timber is from an ethical source and locally produced.

For hire: we have a 15ft yurt, equipped with a wood burner and fuel, full ground sheet and lockable front doors. Hire can be at a daily rate or for longer periods, dependant on location. Art For Rent

Start in Salford can help to cheer up workplaces by renting uplifting artwork produced by our members to offices and businesses. We rent artwork to large and small clients in a variety of sectors, including leisure, health and local government.
